About
Welcome! This blog is dedicated to all women regardless of race, color or creed. But, the information is especially geared toward women like me. I’m a 51 year-young African American single parent. I’ve never been married. I’ve always desired to be with a God fearing, loving, physically fit, emotionally healthy and financially stable husband. The white picket fence was not important, but NEVER in my wildest dreams did I think I’d STILL be single at this age regardless of the mistakes or not-so-wise decisions I’ve made in the past. I have 2 sons ages 11 and 23 (that’s another story/post). The youngest is at home with me. I’ve been blessed to obtain a Bachelor of Information Technology much later in life. Blessed to be able to earn a decent living in the field I focused on—database administration/programming. You’ll learn more about me on this page as well as other posts throughout this blog.
You and I will talk, cry, laugh and pray. We will share upcoming events, post suggestions, questions and comments about faith, parenting, finances, health and what many of us most crave—love.
